Studies About Artists and Arts Impact Reveal Interesting Facts

Paoli Art Show Looking for Exhibitors

This historic town offers four galleries, just outside of Verona. If that's not enough art, the annual Art in the Park fine art fair on Saturday, August 11, 2012, 10 - 5 p.m. and has 10 spaces left. Plan to Participate in American Craft Week Oct. 5-14, 2012

Galleries, artists, art guilds and absolutely everyone involved in craft are invited to present events such as studio tours, art walks, fairs and special exhibitions during American Craft Week. In 2011, more than four hundred locations held special events highlighting fine art and craft artists.  Participation fees start as low as $25 to help cover the cost of print materials and Sponsorship opportunities starting at $250. 

The arts are important to our community, our lives and our economic vitality!  American Craft Week (ACW) plays an important part in letting the rest of the country know what amazing things are going on in Madison. The steering committee will be working hard to connect with travel writers, bloggers, national and regional magazines, TV, Newspaper and radio to spread the word on the importance American Craft in our history and today.

American Craft Week is led by a volunteer steering committee and they point out that the national event has enjoyed the widespread support of the craft industry. Waupun Art Show Deadline Is June 8

The deadline is fast approaching to send your images in to be juried for the Art Around Waupun Art Show.  June 8th is the deadline for the September 8th show, 10 AM to 4 PM in and around the Waupun City Hall.  Waupun Fine Arts is again dedicated to making this year's Art Around Waupun art show a high quality, low fee show to allow artist's maximum profit.  Since we are a non-profit organization, the art show is not a fundraiser for us, but rather is an event to support and encourage the arts in Wisconsin.

Fine Art/Fine Craft Show May 26 Menomonee Falls

Art on the Walk, in its 5th year; May 26 in Menomonee Falls (WI) Historic Village Centre. The Village Centre is underwriting the show. Artists will not be charged a jury or booth fee. ART SPECTACULAR - Sept 8-9, 2012 - Springfield, IL

This is a show you should apply for if you want to participate in:

  • one of the best 'little' fine art fairs in Central Illinois (up to 50 artists);
  • a highly respected and loved fine art fair in Springfield, IL;
  • an art fair with volunteers who will cater to you with free water, soda, and time-of-day appropriate snacks throughout the event, load-in and -out assistance
  • booth sitting
  • artists' award dinner
  • an art fair in a beautiful park setting
  • an art fair where the 'promoter' is on-site and available throughout the event!

In addition to wonderful original artwork, Art Spectacular features patron bucks drawings, patron preview sale, Kids' Place, kids' art sale, music provided by local musicians, food vendors, gift basket raffle and silent auction. 6,000 people attended Art Spectacular in 2011 in this art-loving, art-buying community.
